The Luis Alberto saga could be over as Lazio sporting director Igli Tare reveals the player has joined the team at Auronzo di Cadore.
The Spaniard was fined as he hadn’t shown up for the first days of training of the season, first in Rome and then at Auronzo di Cadore, irritating the club.
According to reports, the former Liverpool star was pushing to leave Lazio, but Tare has revealed the player will join his teammates today.
“He will regain enthusiasm in Auronzo, he’s already joined the team”, Tare said during the unveiling of the fixture list for the 2021-22 campaign.

The Biancocelesti have already begun the preseason with Maurizio Sarri at the helm.
“He is happy to have joined the club, the fans wanted him and we’ve made them happy,” Tare said.
“He is a top coach and the Rome derby will be watched worldwide. He’s found a motivated team, everybody is happy about his methods, and he told President Lotito that here he can work as likes to do.”
