The COVID-19 outbreak at Spezia continues to expand, as the club announced a further two positive tests at the Aquilotti.
The announcement of seven positive cases in the team group, with six players and a staff member testing positive, was followed by a new press release confirming further cases.

“Spezia announce that the last round of swabs carried out by the team group highlighted the positivity to COVID-19 of two players,” the club wrote in a statement.
“The club, after having suspended the activity yesterday afternoon and this morning, obtained the authorisation from the local health authorities of Bolzano to carry out individual training sessions as early as this afternoon.
“The team group will remain isolated, following the procedures provided for by the health protocol.”
