There is fog in Tuscany this evening, but so far not enough to threaten the progress of the match.

Milan have the opportunity to break away at the top of the table, awaiting Napoli’s head-to-head with Inter tomorrow, but it is far from easy in Florence.

Fikayo Tomori and Ante Rebic were late additions to the absentee list, joining Davide Calabria, Samu Castillejo, Mike Maignan, Daniel Maldini and Alessandro Plizzari on the treatment table.

Alessio Romagnoli isn’t fully fit either, so Mattia Gabbia gets a rare start.

Oliver Giroud is expected to start in the Champions League against Atletico Madrid, so Ibrahimovic gets the nod here, supported by Rafael Leao, Brahim Diaz and Alexis Saelemaekers.

Fiorentina are decimated in defence, because Nikola Milenkovic and Lucas Martinez-Quarta are both suspended, then Matija Nastasic picked up an injury on international duty.

Erick Pulgar and Bartlomiej Dragowski are also still out of action, so Igor is the only available centre-back, with full-back Lorenzo Venuti having to make a sacrifice.

Vlahovic has scored eight goals, half of the Fiorentina total in Serie A this season, while Nico Gonzalez is not ready to start after almost three weeks out with COVID-19.

Jose Callejon and Riccardo Saponara are therefore the support for Vlahovic upfront.

Fiorentina: Terracciano; Odriozola, Venuti, Igor, Biraghi; Bonaventura, Torreira, Castrovilli; Callejon, Vlahovic, Saponara

Milan: Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Kjaer, Gabbia, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz, Leao; Ibrahimovic
