Probable line-ups: Roma vs. Sassuolo

José Mourinho’s 1,000th game as a coach will see Nicolò Zaniolo start against Sassuolo with Lorenzo Pellegrini, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Tammy Abraham.

It kicks off at 19.45 UK time at the Stadio Olimpico.

Leonardo Spinazzola is the only unavailable player for the Giallorossi. Lorenzo Pellegrini is not fully fit but is expected to start anyway behind the sole striker Abraham.

Mourinho will take charge of his 1,000th match as a coach and will be looking to extending his unbeaten run in Serie A games to 40, just one behind Massimiliano Allegri.

The injured Pedro Obiang is out of action for Sassuolo, so Davide Frattesi and Maxime Lopez will start in the middle of the park for the visitors.

Giacomo Raspadori will get the nod up front after scoring his first goal at a senior level with Italy earlier this week.

Probable line-ups

Roma: Rui Patricio; Karsdorp, Mancini, Ibanez, Calafiori; Cristante, Veretout; Zaniolo, Pellegrini, Mkhitaryan; Abraham.

Sassuolo: Consigli; Toljan, Chiriches, Ferrari, Rogerio; Lopez, Frattesi; Berardi, Djuricic, Boga; Raspadori.
