Mancini rested the Euros trophy on the National’s ‘Braveheart’ front page

Italy CT Roberto Mancini rested the European Championship trophy on the National’s front page depicting him as William Wallace.

The National asked Mancini to ‘save’ Scotland ahead of the Final against England on Sunday and had made a ‘Braveheart’ front page with the Azzurri CT depicted as the Scottish warrior.

“Save us Roberto, you’re our… final hope,” the front page read, and Mancini obviously picked up a copy whilst in London, resting the trophy on the famous front page on the journey back to Rome.
