Inter director Piero Ausilio confirms Zinho Vanheusden is on the verge of joining Genoa, but there are ‘no developments’ for Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin.
The Nerazzurri have identified Bellerin as the ideal replacement for Achraf Hakimi following his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
When speaking to Tuttomercatoweb reporters this evening, Ausilio was asked if there was any news on Bellerin’s situation.
“There are no developments,” was his response.
The Daily Mail also reported today, following Italian sources, that 26-year-old Spain international right-back Bellerin has told Arsenal he wants to leave for a move to Inter.
However, the director of sport did have better news when it comes to Vanheusden’s imminent loan move to Genoa.
“We are working on it, this is a deal that can be done relatively quickly, so we’ll see.”
Vanheusden turns 22 later this month and the centre-back spent this season at Standard Liege.
Meanwhile, Inter have completed the loan of striker Sebastiano Esposito to Swiss team FC Basel.
There is an option to buy, but also a counter-option in favour of the Nerazzurri.
