Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly talked to Massimiliano Allegri about the future at the Allianz Stadium, and agent Jorge Mendes continues to look for possible solutions.
ESPN reports the Portugal captain’s future in Turin is still very much uncertain but doesn’t expect the former Sporting CP youth to make any decisions before Euro 2020.
Ronaldo is currently preparing for his country’s defence of the European Championship, but the broadcaster reveals Ronaldo has already talked to Allegri, who returns to Juventus ahead of next season.
Allegri and Ronaldo spent one season together in 2018-19, and the former Milan coach’s return to Turin was announced last month.
Ronaldo’s massive salary and Juventus requests of at least €29m are the main obstacles for a move away from the Bianconeri.
But the report points out that his agent is still looking for solutions among the giants in Europe.
ESPN believes Mendes has contacted Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Real Madrid to understand the feasibility of a move.
But the 36-year-old, who scored 29 goals in 33 Serie A games in 2020-21, has not made a final decision and will most likely wait until the conclusion of Euro 2020.
