De Paul and Romero in Team of Copa America

Rodrigo De Paul and Cristian Romero have been named in the official CONMEBOL Team of the Copa America.

Argentina lifted the trophy, beating Brazil 1-0 in the Final with a goal from Angel Di Maria.

There was Serie A representation in the official Team of the Tournament, as Udinese midfielder De Paul impressed in the Final and provided the assist for that decisive goal.

While De Paul was an Udinese player during the competition, he has now completed his transfer to Atletico Madrid.

Atalanta defender Romero was in doubt for the big match due to injury, but grit his teeth to play and further enhanced his reputation after a strong season in Bergamo.
