Henrique Dalbert has reportedly completed his transfer to Cagliari, joining from Inter on loan with option to buy for €7m.
The left-back turns 28 in September and has just returned from a loan spell at Rennes.
According to the latest reports from Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and more, the contract has been signed and an announcement is imminent.
The details of the deal have Cagliari paying the entirety of his salary during the loan at the Sardegna Arena.
They also have an option to buy the player at the end of the season for circa €7m.
Inter bought the Brazilian from OGC Nice in 2017 for €21m, but he never quite delivered.
There were loans at Fiorentina and Stade Rennais, while now he hopes to make his mark in Serie A with Cagliari.
This is part of a wider discussion between the clubs, as Inter are also hoping to get Nahitan Nandez, while Cagliari are pushing for Radja Nainggolan on a permanent basis after last season’s loan.
