Massimiliano Allegri has little options in defence as Juventus prepare to face Chelsea in the Champions League.
The Blues host Juventus at Stamford Bridge tonight.
It kicks off at 20.00 UK time.
Juventus won the reverse fixture in Turin in September and another victory against Chelsea would allow the Serie A giants to win Group H.
Former Inter striker Romelu Lukaku could start on the bench after recovering from an ankle injury, while Allegri must cope without several injured players in Juventus’ defensive department.
Why Juventus defenders will have a tougher task against Chelsea without Lukaku
Giorgio Chiellini, Danilo and Mattia De Sciglio are all injured, while Luca Pellegrini wasn’t included in the Champions League list at the beginning of the season.
Alex Sandro rested against Lazio on Saturday and will start at left-back. Matthijs de Ligt and Leonardo Bonucci will play in central defence with former Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado at right-back.
Allegri doesn’t have many alternative options as Daniele Rugani and the young Koni De Winter are the only other defenders available tonight at Stamford Bridge.
Champions League | Probable line-ups: Chelsea-Juventus and Young Boys-Atalanta
Rugani has only played three games so far this season while De Winter has been promoted from the U23 squad and has yet to make his senior debut with the Serie A giants.
