Monza confirm Mario Balotelli could leave, as newly-promoted Turkish club Adana Demirspor step up their pursuit of the striker.
Turning 31 this summer, Balotelli is at another career crossroads following five unimpressive months in Serie B with Monza.
They lost the promotion play-off semi-finals and SuperMario may well not be part of their future plans.
“Balotelli’s contract has expired. We will decide with (new coach Giovanni) Stroppa,” Monza CEO Adriano Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Adana Demirspor are increasing their pressure on Balotelli to accept a new experience in Turkey.
The President had already confirmed last month that he wanted to bring Balo to the Super League as a reward for the club’s promotion after 26 years away.
