Premier League betting tips: Chelsea to dominate Leicester, Liverpool just edge Arsenal, Cristiano Ronaldo to score first for Man United, Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus to score for Man City against Everton

The Premier League is back after the international break and clubs will be battling for all three points as we approach a jam-packed winter schedule.

This weekend provides great opportunities for various clubs to put distance between themselves and their rivals as the fight for the top six, relegation and the European places.

Steven Gerrard, Eddie Howe and Dean Smith all take charge of their first Premier League matches on Saturday

Here’s our betting preview and top tips from some of the standout matches…

Leicester v Chelsea

Chelsea remain at the top of the table by three points and will be after another win to keep that point advantage.

Leicester have struggled this season in comparison to recent years and haven’t managed to settle in and are currently at the wrong end of the table.

Two of their wins came back to back in October but a loss and a draw since have meant the Foxes haven’t been able to pursue the top six spot.

Only two points separate seven sides vying for that position currently occupied by Man United on goal difference.

But Brendan Rodgers’ side are unbeaten in their last three Premier League matches against the Blues.

talkSPORT tip: Chelsea to win the first half, second half and over 2.5 goals at 6.69/1 (Betfair).

Chelsea have been in fine scoring form this season with a plethora of players getting on the scoresheet

Liverpool v Arsenal

Liverpool had their unbeaten streak demolished when they came up against West Ham before the international break.

The Hammers won 3-2 against the only side who hadn’t lost all season.

Arsenal are now just two points behind their opponents coming into this match and could move up to fourth with a win this weekend.

Liverpool have the dominant form over the Gunners though, with only one loss within 90 minutes in the last 15 fixtures.

Arsenal’s only win in that time was a 2-1 victory in July 2020 when they played behind closed doors at the Emirates.

Sadio Mane netted the opener before Alexandre Lacazette and Reiss Nelson secured a first half comeback to seal the win.

Before that Liverpool hadn’t lost to Arsenal since 2015 and have continued their dominance throughout the recent years.

Manchester City v Everton

Manchester City suffered a shock loss at home to Crystal Palace at the end of last month.

They recovered since then, thrashing Club Brugge 4-1 in the Champions League and then their rivals United 2-0 just three days after.

Their players have also been in fine form on international duty including Kevin De Bruyne scoring a wonderful goal for Belgium against Wales in their World Cup qualifier match.

The Citizens also have a great record against Everton having won seven of their last seven matches in the league with aggregate of 21-5.

The last game at the Etihad finished 5-0 to City with goals from De Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus, Phil Foden and Sergio Aguero.

talkSPORT tip: Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus to score at 3.93/1 (Paddy Power).

Watford v Manchester United

Watford have lost 12 of their last 14 matches against Man United in the league, the worst record they have against any other team.

Despite both sides being out for the win, Claudio Ranieri will be after three points to go towards their relegation fight but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will also be after a victory to ease the threat of being sacked.

Cristiano Ronaldo has only appeared against the Hornets three times, when he played alongside his current boss, and has scored twice – a penalty and a goal in the semi final of the FA Cup.

Ronaldo has also scored four in his last five appearances for United and looks set to continue that run this weekend against a team he performs well against.
