Logan Paul proved he is still an entertainer after his foray into the world of boxing by wearing a limited edition Pokemon card on his ring walk before fighting Floyd Mayweather.
The social media star, who made his name through Vine and then YouTube, went 12 rounds with the 50-0 legend on Sunday night in Miami and even had brief moments of success.
Although there was no official winner from the bout, many felt as though Mayweather would have claimed a points win – had there been judges to score the bout.
Yet for Paul, simply going the distance in just his second ever boxing match with arguably the greatest fighter of this generation should surely count as a victory.
While the action in the ring certainly got people entertained in the Sunshine State, Mayweather and Paul both donned some pretty eye-catching ring walk attire.
The 29-year-old had a first-edition, gem mint 10-graded Charizard Pokemon card around his neck, which he bought for $150,000 last year and told members of the media it could now be worth $1million.
“It’s a BGS 10 Charizard, first edition Charizard,” he said. “It’s one of three in the world.
“It is my prized possession; ever since I got this graded at a ten, the momentum in my life has been crazy.
“It’s my good luck charm. This is the card I walked out [with] to the Floyd Mayweather fight. This is a million-dollar card.”
Meanwhile ‘Money‘ came out to the ring with a leather OnlyFans hat on, perhaps promoting his partnership with the content subscription service.
Although often used by sex workers, there are several celebrities and sports stars on the platform, with Mayweather planning on revealing his lifestyle to fans on the app.
An OnlyFans representative told Essentially Sports: “The Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather Jr. and OnlyFans partnership includes exclusive content and a fight sponsorship.”
“Launching an OnlyFans profile allows Floyd Mayweather to connect with his fans and share his personal life in a way like never before.”
