Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley make ridiculous tattoo-related bet for loser of August 29 bout

The trash talking between Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley is in full swing ahead of the pair’s scheduled bout on August 29.

Five-time UFC welterweight champion Woodley will contest in his first boxing contest against the YouTube star turned professional fighter in Ohio.

Paul was face his toughest test as a boxer when he takes on UFC icon Woodley

Paul is 3-0 with three knockouts, but all of his opponents have been first-time boxers and they certainly haven’t been trained by one of the greatest boxers of all time in Floyd Mayweather.

But nonetheless Paul, as ever, was in confident mood as the pair addressed the media for the second time since their fight was confirmed.

And he took things one step further by making a bet with Woodley, which could have consequences that might last a lifetime for the loser.

“Let’s make a new bet right now. If I beat you, you have to get ‘I love Jake Paul’ tattooed on you, but if you beat me I get ‘I love Tyron Woodley’ tattooed on me, and you have to post it on your Instagram feed.

“Deal or no deal? Are you confident or not? This guy has no f****** confidence.”

Woodley duly asked the press in attendance whether or not he should accept the bet: “Y’all think I should do it?” Bet. Deal.”

Paul suggested the ridiculous bet as they squared off in front of the media
Woodley had no hesitation in accepting Paul’s bet with the pair shaking on it

The pair then made it official by shaking hands as Paul posed a question to his four million plus Twitter followers.

The 24-year-old did a poll asking whether Woodley should get the tattoo on either his forearm, face, chest or calf.

Paul later went on to claim his next opponent will be the ‘laughing stock of the internet’, predicting that he’ll knockout Woodley inside three rounds.

He continued: “You have never been in a fight like this, you’ve never been in a fight of this scale.

“The whole MMA community is counting on you to knock me out but you’re going to be the laughing stock of the internet.

“This is my toughest fight by far and that’s what I want, I want to increase my opponents skill leave and challenge myself. He was boxing when I was on the Disney channel.

“You will see a boxing clinic put on and this man won’t go more than three rounds.”

He concluded: “I think the secret’s out of the bag; I’m sparring some of the best fighters in the world and when I knock out Tyron people will say I’m the real deal.

“I’m going to take him into deep waters and make him drown; this is my make or break fight.”
