‘It’s not very warm there, eh?’ – Football Manager nut Antoine Griezmann has led Newcastle to incredible success on game and tells Kylian Mbappe of huge transfer fee he paid for him -but PSG striker is perplexed

Newcastle United fans have been crying out for the board to show some ambition in the transfer market in an attempt to push the club forward for as long as we can remember.

Well maybe Antoine Griezmann is the man to lead that major overhaul… so to speak.

Griezmann has been showing off his latest Football Management achievements… with Newcastle United[/caption]

The France ace is a self-proclaimed Football Manager fanatic and has been back playing the popular simulation football game during his downtime between matches on international duty ahead of Euro 2020.

The Barcelona star was filmed as the French squad were mid-flight, and took the opportunity to show off his latest team and signings.

Griezmann, who previously transformed Arsenal into serial winners, is currently playing as the Magpies – and it’s safe to say he hasn’t disappointed.

The 30-year-old was quick to show off his current achievements to teammate Ousmane Dembele, which include the Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League, Community Shield and the Super Cup.

The Barcelona man turned to his France colleague Mbappe to reveal he splashed the cash to bring the PSG man to St James’ Park
It’s safe to say Mbappe was far from convinced – and the climate of the north east in the Griezmann Football Manager universe

It’s a rather impressive collection to say the least, with Griezmann turning to another of his colleagues, Kylian Mbappe, to notify him that he’d played his part in the virtual success.

Griezmann managed to secure the Paris Saint-Germain star’s services for £134million – quite a good deal if you ask us – but Mbappe didn’t seemed convinced.

Giving a rather perplexed look, the forward simply replied: “Newcastle, where? It’s not very warm there, eh?”

Sorry Newcastle fans, we don’t think this transfer will be happening anytime soon!
