Arsenal legend Ian Wright celebrates like crazy in front of Tottenham icon Glenn Hoddle as Gunners claim bragging rights in north London derby

Arsenal fans were able to celebrate properly for the first time in a while, winning the north London derby in style by beating arch-rivals Tottenham.

After FA Cup success in his first season at the Emirates, life hasn’t exactly been amazing under Mikel Arteta, however, the 3-1 win over Spurs helped make up for a poor start to the season.

Arsenal fans enjoyed a proper celebration, nearly as much as Ian Wright did

The youth-inspired Gunners flew out the blocks with three first half goals helping them claim the bragging rights and put a smile on the face of all Arsenal fans.

Nowhere more so than on the face of former Arsenal great Ian Wright, whose reaction to the goals quickly went viral.

Appearing in a TV studio with Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle, Wright was unable to contain his delight as young Gunners Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe ran riot.

Wright couldn’t help but yell as Saka set Smith Rowe up for a 12th minute opener, and was taken off his seat when the latter assisted Pierre Emerick Aubameyang just before the half hour mark.

Wright was then seen screaming “It’s a great day, it’s a great day, it’s a great day” as Saka put the game to bed, made all the more amusing by the despondent look on Hoddle’s face opposite.

Tottenham had previously topped the Premier League under new boss Nuno Espirito Santo, winning their opening three games while Arsenal sat bottom of the table after losing theirs.

Their situations have now completely flipped however, with Arsenal winning three on the bounce, meaning Spurs have a trio of consecutive league defeats.
